Aim and Alignment

THOMAS Brand Hybrids are the only clubs in golf with the patented level top-plane. This is the only club design that grantees the shot alignment indicator can be accurately aimed parallel to your target line, for outstanding shot accuracy. This also gives you the  advantage of tri-axial alignment… the ability to visually adjust loft, lie, and direction of your shot.

Greater Strength & Accuracy

Clubs with traditional roll and bulge tops will flex when they make contact with the ball, and power is lost. The straight design of the Advanced TopPlane eliminates unnecessary flex and delivers better shot control. These hybrids were independently tested on a hitting machine, and found to be equal in distance to the standard iron it’s replacing (same specs), but were more forgiving on off-center hits and therefore produced higher average distance. These hybrids are designed for accuracy, and to make sure you have a hybrid to cover any distance you will need (aprox. 10-yard increments).

Improved Sweet-Spot Location

The Advanced TopPlane lowers the center of gravity so that the sweet-spot of the club is automatically aligned with the sweet-spot of the ball. This was all accomplished without reducing the size of the face or sweet spot.

THOMAS Frequency & Flex Matched tour-grade shafts made of premium super high modulus graphite fibers provide a light weight of 60 grams for increased swing speed, while maintaining a low torque of 3.3° to reduce head twisting and lagging at impact, resulting in increased shot accuracy. THOMAS shafts are seamless and have been specifically designed to match and optimize the performance of THOMAS heads for alignment accuracy and ball flight. Specialized Mid Kick-Point provides an optimum balance of trajectory & control. Each shaft undergoes extensive testing including Bend Stressing and Frequency Calibration ensuring integrity and consistency from shaft to shaft.

The Senior version has a specialized Low Kick-Point to assist in achieving higher shot trajectory.

The Ladies version is the same tour-grade construction, in a Champagne color and a light weight of 70 grams with low torque of 4.5° to reduce head-twist/lag at impact, and a Low Kick-Point to assist in achieving higher shot trajectory.

Standard-weight Steel with Mid/High Bend-Point

THOMAS Frequency & Flex Matched tour-grade steel shafts have a standard steel weight of 135 grams and a very low torque to reduce head twisting and lagging at impact, resulting in increased shot accuracy. THOMAS shafts have been specifically designed to match and optimize the performance of THOMAS heads for alignment accuracy and boring ball flight. Specialized High Kick-Point produces a more penetrating trajectory for optimum control & accuracy. Each shaft undergoes extensive testing including Bend Stressing and Frequency Calibration ensuring integrity and consistency from shaft to shaft.

Light-weight step-less Steel with Mid Bend-Point

 THOMAS Frequency & Flex Matched stepless steel shafts with lighter weight and low torque to reduce head twisting and lagging at impact, resulting in increased shot accuracy. THOMAS shafts have been specifically designed to match and optimize the performance of THOMAS heads for alignment accuracy. Specialized Mid Kick-Point gets the ball airborne with higher trajectory without losing accuracy. Each shaft undergoes extensive testing including Bend Stressing and Frequency Calibration ensuring integrity and consistency from shaft to shaft.
